Onsmark started his career with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Film & Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Already at SCAD his work was highly recognized, winning several awards. With the work on “Trains” for Summerbirds in the Cellar, Onsmark along with Director Mike Goubeaux created a music video winning the Scion Xpress Fest.
It was also at SCAD where Stratton Leopold saw potential in Onsmark and brought him out for an internship on Mission: Impossible III, giving him his first big Hollywood experience.
Onsmark later moved his family to Los Angeles to continue his work in film where he was discovered by Producer Jack Binder, who brought Onsmark into his two companies; Greentrees Films and FilmBudget.com. Within a year Onsmark had been promoted to Director of Production for Greentrees Films, overseeing development and production, as well as Senior Consultant for Filmbudget.com, managing one of the largest independent consulting firms for development in the industry – serving over 50 projects in the first two years of operation. In resent years Onsmark has become one of the most highly sought after Line Producers in the Nordics thanks to his vast knowledge of international Tax Incentives and Rebates. In the last two years Onsmark has led the production on the Netflix shows “The Playlist” (2022) and “A Nearly Normal Family” (due out 2023).

Marcus is a multi awarded cinematographer and drone operator. His nature and feature films films has been shown on festivals around the globe.
He is specilazied in drone cinematography and most of the jobs are drama and commercials.
The passion for nature has always been there. that reflects in a lot of his work, which have a hightened version of reality but at the same time looks naturistic. He’s not afraid of playing with colors and light.
He is a easy going and calm guy, even in stressful situations. He began working as a gaffer. The understanding of how to light and the practical experience in lighting a scene is really important skills to know as cinematographer. Through out the years he has learned to master the light as well as the camera.
